Interior Designer in Scottsdale - Principal Designer Alex Aguirre

Selected work

Private residences, designed by one hand.

Much of our work in Scottsdale is private: family estates, second homes and long-held properties whose owners would rather not be photographed. What we show is a small edit, chosen to demonstrate judgment rather than volume.

Alex Aguirre leads every commission personally, from the first walk-through to the final install, working quietly alongside your architect, builder and trades.

Installation day

On site

Present until the last piece is placed.

Installation is the quietest stage of a Scottsdale project and the one we attend most closely. Floors are protected, art and lighting are set by hand, and nothing is left to be finished after we leave.

North Scottsdale

1-on-1 Partner Project Management for North Scottsdale's Neighborhoods and Exclusive Communities

Every address north of Shea Boulevard answers to its own association, its own approval steps and its own idea of how a home should sit on the land. Phoenix Interior Design (PHX ID) keeps that complexity off your desk. One principal designer manages the drawings, the trades and the material orders, and learns the rules of your community before the first selection is made.

Where the Gate Sets the Rules

Private clubs and membership communities, where access hours, vendor registration and design review all shape the project calendar.

  • Silverleaf

Canyon lots mean long approaches and carefully framed views. We plan each room from the window outward, then stage deliveries around the gate.

  • Estancia

Homes stepped into the Pinnacle Peak slope with generous glass. Light control and shade planning keep west-facing rooms comfortable.

  • Desert Mountain

A sprawling set of villages at very different elevations. We scale the scope to the age of each home and keep contractor access organized for a long drive in.

  • Whisper Rock

Privacy is the brief here. Quiet crews, consolidated deliveries and nothing left visible from the street.

  • Desert Highlands

Rooms arranged around boulders and long horizons. Furnishing plans echo the rock and sky instead of competing with them.

  • Mirabel

A higher, cooler site under a wide sky. Warmer palettes and layered lighting suit the setting.

  • Troon Village

Several decades of homes sorted into many sub-associations. We confirm each approval path before drawings are finalized.

  • Troon North

Everything from condominiums to full custom residences, so scopes range from a primary-suite refresh to complete interior architecture.

  • Legend Trail

A calm, far-north setting. Kitchen updates and finish upgrades that suit an unhurried way of living.

  • Terravita

Established homes ready for lighter, more current interiors. Kitchens, baths and flooring are the usual starting points.

  • The Boulders

Granite surfaces through the landscape and sometimes the floor plan. We design to keep those textures and views at the center of each room.

Trail-Linked Villages and Large Planned Communities

Larger communities with shared amenities, design standards and active associations that keep streetscapes consistent.

  • DC Ranch

Several villages tied together by trails and open space. Whole-home projects move through the community design review with drawings prepared in advance.

  • Grayhawk

Gated and non-gated neighborhoods side by side. We tailor scope and finish level to each home rather than to the zip code.

  • McDowell Mountain Ranch

Preserve access at the back door. Open-plan remodels that pull daily living toward the outdoors.

  • Windgate Ranch

A lively, amenity-rich community. Kitchen and living-area updates built around busy households and frequent guests.

  • Winfield

Close to Carefree, with established homes. Interior architecture and finish upgrades that modernize without losing character.

  • Bellasera

A compact community of individually built homes. Full-scope interior renovations tuned to each floor plan.

Private Enclaves and Acreage Lots

Low-density addresses where the residence itself is the main event and each project is planned from scratch.

  • Pinnacle Peak Estate

Large parcels beneath the peak. We lean on long sight lines and deep overhangs when laying out rooms.

  • Pinnacle Peak Place

A small set of home sites east of Pima Road. Renovation and refresh planning without the formality of a club.

  • Eagles Glen

A tucked-away enclave of individually designed homes. Kitchen, bath and primary-suite upgrades done thoroughly.

  • Desert Skyline Estates

Quiet streets just west of Desert Highlands. Interior updates that borrow from the surrounding peaks.

  • The Peak

Large lots on the southern face of the mountain. Discreet, privacy-minded interiors and careful material sourcing.

  • Candlewood Estates

A secluded pocket within Troon North. Mountain-facing rooms with full-service remodeling behind the gate.

  • Sincuidados

Custom homes spaced across natural terrain. Interiors shaped by the slope and the way light moves across it.

  • Sereno Canyon

A preserve-minded community of homesites. Design planning that carries from the floor plan to the last finish.

  • Pima Acres

Homes on one- to two-acre parcels. Whole-home and estate renovations with space to rethink how the house meets the yard.

Before you build

Check your own city's rules

Permits, zoning and setbacks are set by the city or town, and they change. Use these official pages to confirm what applies to your lot before you order materials or sign a contract.

01

Check paperwork you already have

Your parcel number (APN) is printed on your county property tax statement and usually on your deed or title documents.

02

Or search by address

The Maricopa County Assessor lets you search by street address or owner name and returns the parcel number.

03

Use it on the city tools

Scottsdale, Phoenix and Cave Creek map and permit tools accept an address, and many also accept a parcel number.
